SUAC OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON APPREHENSION OF SUSPECTS

SUAC wishes to personally thank OCPD ACP Arjunaidi for meeting with us recently to discuss issues on crime. It was indeed very kind of Tuan OCPD to take time off his busy schedule to arrange for a late night meeting with us and for that, we are very grateful. SUAC would also like to thank Balai Polis Kota Damansara for their swift action in arresting the suspects, following the tip-off. Thanks again to one and all for their assistance.

  6. Great idea. Would you be so kind as to volunteer as the committee's welfare Officer? We mean it in the nicest way and with no disrespect whatsoever. Let us take this opportunity to highlight the issues that we face. Each and every resident wants security but many are unwilling to pay for it or contribute their time. Besides this ongoing issue, here are other issues;

    1) 5/6 has only one volunteer Street Rep. This means that 66% of JSP 5/6 has to be handled by residents outside of 5/6. Does this sound fair?

    2) 5/8 has zero volunteers. All the Street reps for 5/8 come from outside of their boundaries. Fair?

    3) Residents of 5/13 have been complaining that no one has collected from them for the last 2 quarters. They are not happy when they have to pay RM300 in one shot.

    4) Half the residents of 5/11 have the same complaint as residents of 5/13. A sector of 5/14 also suffers the same fate.

    5) Some people volunteer to play a role in managing the guards but actually did not fulfill their role.

    It is very difficult for a handful of people to run the entire security system, no matter how committed they are. We all want security but very few are willing to genuinely contribute. Some volunteer for the title but again don't contribute. Some days when the pressure and workload seems overbearing, we genuinely feel that it's best to stop the security and let each resident protect their own home. The concept of coming together as a taman and working together for the safety and security of our family and children is dead. What we have left are a few individuals who have made great sacrifices to secure our taman. AND, I must add, they have done a great job even though they are not paid a single cent for their efforts but instead have to listen to the bickering and complaints of the many who take us all for granted.

  7. Don't forget Sepah Puteri 5/9 - no resident from the street is willing to collect from their own resident. My neighbour is a street rep and always up-to-date me on suac. My heart is to those who really contribute and we should be appreciate of these people. I even know those people who try to sabotage the security system because they want to take over president. These chibai people don;t care about taman, just want to have name and title. Sometimes, the stories make me really sad. This type of people also got. Walau eh.

  13. Stop living on others welfare. This is a forum to excahnge ideas and finding ways to solve issues in our taman. Stop the childish bickering , just typical of us Malaysians. Grow up and behave lije adults.
