Security Alert: Insufficient Guards

Some of our security guards are under warrant by the immigration department in a raid today. Post 2 is currently being closed temporary for security concern. Please be more on alert of your house, family and our neighbourhood in view of in sufficient guards. Please bear with us while we are sorting this out. We appreciate your understanding and support.

  1. No wonder the main entrance post was not guarded since yesterday. I do hope we can get our usual guards back because they are really reliable, hardworking and trustworthy people.

  2. Thanks for the update. My first thought when I saw the closed Post 2 and the reduced number of guards was "oh no, the guards pulled out again due to insufficient funds". Glad to know the real situation is not as grave as that. Hope to see them back in action soonest as they are doing a great job. Keep it up and 'thank you' SUAC.

  5. You have my support in this. I have good faith that SUAC will resolve this ASAP and things go back to normal again. I guess at times like this it really makes you appreciate the security we enjoyed and disruptions like this really makes you appreciate the effort the committee had put in to make it happen. Kudos SUAC!!

  9. No doubt the security have done a great job..it's the best of the best i came across...but why are they working without permits? That i don't understand...

  10. I am really saddend with the whole situation,I hope things will be resolve asap. The guards are do far very trustworthy decicated. We have to take care their welfare too, there are also human like us,they have made a lot of sacrificed leaving their family and earn an honest job, however i received some sad comment like during heavy rain, they cant even take shelter at some place eventhough with the permission given by the home owner.I for an example give them permission to take shelter at my parking lot and also at my neighbour's parking lot.It was only a short period while waiting for the rain to setle down.I thought this humanitarian act is just a small contribution,so that they can do their job with a condusive enviroment, however they are some who is against this kind of kindness. How can they patrol with wet uniform.Let show our true spirit of neighbourhood.Be considerate to another human, eventhough they are only guards

  11. I wrote a comment on the situation and call for the committee to be responsible and take accountability. Unfortunately someone decide to take it off. Why the selective deleting of comments?? do you wish the resident not know the truth and only see the good things and not what I revealed???

I shall write again and hope you wont delete. People have the rights to information.

  12. I also found out that many of the anonymous postings here congratulating SUAC are from the same user. How do I know??...I check the IP address from where it was sent sent and it's all from the same user. The same user that delete my post. What a scam!!

    1. Hmm perhaps you should reveal yourself and we can elect you 'president'!! NO point to come up with all this conspiracy theory and no suggestion to resolve issue. What we need now is for our neighbours to band together to solve this not with your theories and all...

If you reveal yourself you can take charge and turn this around. What do you say!!!

  13. Dear residents, try to be thankful of what the committees had done so far. They are of course will sit down and try their best to solve this problem. They are volunteers...not getting any pay for what they are doing. They even went to bail the guards out ..waited for few hours...will YOU willing to do that for all the residents? Just be thankful, be kind enough to wait for further notice or lend a helping hand whenever needed. After all the committees are just our neighbors..working voluntarily to keep our neighborhood safe. I am not in the committee board..but I am ver thankful for what they have done so far. Thank you.

  14. One of the guards told me their permit already expired quite sometime and commitee didnt do their jobs to renew it.

    1. I have heard the guards working permits still valid, but their working occupation was supposed to be construction workers. Anyhow, do keep your question, try not to blame any party before further investigation. Do have a look at our neighbor's garden, their guards were too being warrant by the authority. I am pretty sure our committee is having their discussion to address to this issue. Be patient and be vigilant with our neighborhood is all we need to do now. Keep your questions till to the right time during agm or meeting.

  15. Well said dear supporter of SUAC. i 500% salute all committee members who work like they are being paid.its not an easy job,a free job.For those who knows to complain only please come and join the commitee,or better still be the president of SUAC

  16. working occupation was supposed to be construction workers? Does SUAC members know about this?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Let's not pointing fingers. But together we look into the issue and hopefully to have our neighborhood "guarded" again. It is so scary everyday when you get in and out from car..seen too much of those cases around PJ. The moment you close your autogate.. The robbers are ready.. Be careful everyone. Stay safe. 'May our neighbourhood be GUARDED again.

  18. I am truly sad to find out that the security service will discontinue starting tomorrow. My brother is also a committee who volunteer to be the street rep for the street we are not even living in. Simply because there is not enough people to run the committee. We have our hectic personal life to manage just like everyone else. I do hope that the security will go on again and more people are willing to volunteer to be the committee. Without the security, all of our personal lives are affected.

  19. Hello
I saw the notice from my letterbox. Does that mean no more guatds from now on?? If so we r exposes to robbery etc. Well looks like we have to be extra vigilent already.

Sad to hear that our taman no more security. I hope this will not be permanent

  20. I hope the committee will provide detailed explanation on why there is no chance to resolve this issue. Why is it we are not able to hire other guards? Why need to take such a drastic action? After all the hard work put in don't you feel that its really wasted? I'm willing to pay more fees if needed to. I guess many residents are willing as well for the security that we enjoyed! Please provide us with more details rather just a very brief notice.

    1. Agreed. we are willing to pay more. Heard from the neighbours, this round of incident were reported by those non-SUAC member, they got fed up of being asked for house number every time they need to access and that they reported that to authority and "kacau" us. Damn them..

    2. Ya. That's what I heard too. This same non SUAC member assaulted the guard previously. Always give problem to the committee too. Thanks to them the crime rate will increase again.

    3. The person that report is not from SUAC residents. Is from Phase 4

  22. Hello Neighbours. I have read through most of the comments here following the raid. Some are very supportive and others quite harsh. But overall I believe that many are very happy with the services provided by the SUAC and also the vigilant and reliable security provided by the guards. The system works and the guards are professional and well disciplined. We are lucky to have good security at a time when crime is on the rise all over the country. Before anything untoward happens lets all meet soon and discuss how to resolve the issues together as responsible neighbours. It takes all of us to play our part to keep our taman safe especially for our children. Let's be more supportive and constructive.

  25. Seems like most of the residents are cooperative and want back the security but the committee is keeping quiet here. What is happening? We are willing to contribute but at the same time need the committee to lead and steer the efforts! Hope that the committee can provide more info and shed some light to us.

  26. Now without the guards. There is more motor bikes that come into our taman. Loads more suspicious people seems to be around the place and it is very worrying. I hope and pray that we can work as one to get the previous situation of having the guards back on duty.

  27. From the notice given this morning, apart from the guards' work permit issue, the main difficulty faced by SUAC is lack of volunteers to take up positions as street reps. Money is not a real concern at this point (although I stand corrected).

Lets hope more residents volunteer to take up positions in SUAC to enable the excellent security arrangement to continue. Otherwise, we may have to brainstorm to come out with alternative methods of collecting the fees.

Lastly, I believe many residents are happy and appreciative of SUAC's invaluable effort in managing our taman's security, and many will rally around SUAC to resolve the matter for our common good.

  28. Hi,neighbours, this morning when I saw a notice to cease the security.it really make me worry.I am considered a new resident here.I choose to stay here because my friend staying here ,feeding back to me that their SUAC committee who are volunteers is really committed & the guards are patrolling 24 hrs.
after staying for one year,I really can feel & appreciate the contribution done by SUAC committee & the hardworking ,reliability by the guards. this morning,I called few of the committee member that my friend,my neigbour and I wish to join as a volunteers to assist, hoping that the SUAC & security service can be continued. at this moment,in my opinion,we as a neigbour should give a helping hand to our SUAC to resolve our security problem together.I utterly salute to our SUAC committee & the dedicated guards for the effort, commitment to make our place safe & peaceful. pls call me anytime.

  29. Amazing. When SUAC asked for help, no one volunteered. Let others do the hard work to keep your family safe. Your RM50 only paid for the salaries but the work of the committee was free for you. Now when there is panic, people have so much to say. We live in a community full of selfish people. Everyone had so much to say but did little about it. Some people wanted to join for power. Some joined just to pretend to be a part of but actually did nothing. This taman is a joke. Some residents even called SUAC to take care of the dog shit in the lorong next to their house. Some residents expected SUAC to get their trees chopped. Some wanted SUAC to cut their abandoned neighbors grass. All this just because they paid RM50 and expected SUAC to do everything for them. We had the best of the best and no one appreciated it. This is what caused Neal and Wilson to step down last October. When the new committee was elected, they faced the same issues. The real reason why the guards were nabbed here and in other tamans in KD and Mutiara Damansara, Puchong etc is too politically sensitive to discuss here. This is why not much more can be said. With regards to the negative comments, it is from a disgruntled phase 4 resident who also complained about the speed bumps etc. Pay no attention to this stupid bitch. Her comments don't belong on our blog as she is not a resident of ours. What this taman needs now is another dedicated committee which comprises of fresh blood. A whole new team that can deliver the same quality of security as we had for the past 2 years. All previous committee members should not be allowed to participate as their participation will be a hinderance and the committee will be bogged down with power struggles and empty promises. I truly wish Neal and Wilson would come back but they were stabbed in the back by so many of the commitee members that they quit in disgust. So, all we need a a fresh group of committed individuals who can make our taman safe once again.

  30. Mr. Sim,

You are so right about everything. If anyone talk to committee member, sure know this is true. Also, just because some people want to live in a Palestinian war zone type of environment because they feel homesick, the rest of us civilized society must suffer. Chee Sin. Some more phase 4 people come and talk cock here. She disrupted so many lives. She throw sand in the guards rice bowl. The family of the guards suffer because of her selfish act. This type of people also got. Definitely uneducated. Sorry if english not so good, usse google translate. Thanks.

  32. Heard that to engage Nepalese guards.. Consist of 3 shifts, 5 guards per shift. All in should be around rm20k a month. If we are paying for rm50, which means we need 400 houses paying.
