  1. Hi, any updates re boom gates, no guards seen at most guard house, basically no change. Any news on break-ins ? PLEASE provide details. thanks

    In case you haven't noticed, the boom-gates are up. Our sentry system (guards at guard houses) will be implemented April 1st. There was one attempted break-in in the last 2 months. Alert neighbours caused the burglars to flee. Vehicle details forwarded to police. Please ensure you have your car sticker when the sentry system begins.

    I realize the day guards is not that efficient as the night guards. The night ones are GREAT. They even check on my house when my door is not properly close. That's the way... Keep up the good work!!!

  5. You are absolutely right. We recently fired one day guard and are on the verge of firing another as they do not meet our standards. We will be replacing them with guards from a security company shortly. We will keep 2 of our existing day guards. There will be no change to our night guards. Good observation!!

  6. CORRECTION: Today brought some sad news. It was learnt that 42 paying members have decided to stop paying. This sets us back in every aspect. It will be impossible to continue with our sentry plans with such low funding. I guess, our residents have elected to live without security. As such, please disregard our answer above which refers to the commencement of sentry services on April 1st.

  7. MORE BAD NEWS DEAR SU RESIDENTS !!!! I was told my neighbours that this lady was robbed today at 6am. A passer-by, tried to help chase away the INDIAN robber in a HONDA MADE CAR but the man slashed HER with a parang. QUESTION: Where were your guards ? I was driving pass the guard house at 7am and one guard was sleeping on the chair, I am sure you know who was the sleepy and they are simply UNREASONABLE and UNETHICAL. How can we trust our family on such GUARDS with NO RESPONSIBILTY. This is absurd and needs a total SHAKE UP. I also noticed that your guards would normally appear in shorts and t shirts, only when they are warmed up, they will put on their uniform.
    Please send a cicular out to ALL RESIDENTS informing them about today’s incident. It works when we stop going to parks or even step out of the house. This is the fact and kindly inform the friendly cops too. Finally I appreciate what you have done for the community. GOD KNOWS BEST and best to warn residents that we cant have 100% protection. WE ARE NOT SAFE IN MSIA afterall but the statistics proved us wrong ! How wonderful. God Bless. From Paying Resident

  8. The incident you refer to occured at 5/4. This comes under the jurisdiction of the Phase 4 committee. SUAC cannot report on incidences that occur outside of it's jurisdiction. With reference to the sleeping guard at 7am, could you kindly advise me on which exit you are referring to? I can assure you that no SUAC guard will dare sleep during their hours of duty. SUAC has very strong monitoring systems in place to ensure performance. Also, none of our guards show up in shorts. I certainly hope you are not confusing SUAC guards with guards of other jurisdictions. SUAC guards can be identified by the G1 - G9 numbers on the back of the vests along with the "GUARDED" logo. Should you spot any of SUAC guards doing anything untoward, please contact SUAC immediately. Our guards are fired for any conduct deemed unbecoming. We have fired 4 guards in the last 4 months for performance we deemed to be below par. If you recall, SUAC did warn residents of the possibility of an increase in violent crime if residents didn't come together to fight these elements. While SUAC and the committee of phase 4 are trying very hard to implement a sentry system, the challenges are enormous. We are trying to engage a company that is KDN registered that carries full insurance yet we require them to provide services at a price that suits our small budget. This small budget is a result of many of our residents who refuse to contribute to our scheme. These residents would rather live off the charity of their neighbors than be a part of the community. SUAC works relentlessly for the good of the community. We cannot provide the best security system when so many of our residents are not willing to pay a small monthly fee to protect their very own children. Personally, I find it disgusting that so many of our residents would rather accept vicious PARANG related crime on our streets than pay a small fee for security.

    I have been staying here for the pass 4 years and i didn't know that JSP 5/4 is at PHASE 4. By the way, is there any chair at the guard house?

  10. Thank you for your reply and i agree with u that many rather live off the charity of their neighbors, that’s the society in general. Very little has changed as govt is not doing their part and acknowledge our issue rather than showing us pretty statistics, when’s election btw ? The sleepy Guard was at 5/1 – 5/2 junction and the other guard with shorts spotted at the same spot. Please tell us there are not your guards. Also can you recap that SUAC is working on Phase 2 and 3, also which streets are under your supervision. That would help. Thanks heaps and keep up the good work. Phase 4 committee have failed considerably following such a unpleasant incident.

  11. 1) The sleeping guard you refer to comes under the jurisdiction of phase 1.

    2)SUAC is a committee of the residents of phase 2 & 3. SUAC provides security for JSP 5/5, 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 & 17. Please note that only half of 5/5 is under SUAC; from Post 1 (5/5 intersecting 5/1) to the intersection of 5/5 and 5/12.
