Just a reminder that SUAC will hold it’s first residents meeting on Sunday 19th December, 5pm at our park (5/5). This event is sure to be exciting. You can expect great food, disclosure of our security plans and a chance to meet our very special guests:

2) OCPD ACP Arjunaidi Bin Mohamed
3) Sergeant Major Abdul Latiff Bin Mohamed
4) Superintendent Tuah Bin Masron

Thks for organising this kind of event and i am strongly supporting this scheme. May be we should visit all the houses in Seri Utama and find out the reason why they don't want to join the scheme.May be from the feedback we can have better plan to encourage more ppl to participate into this scheme.I think better to fence up the house back lane as well which can reduce guard work load and they only req to patrol more at front gate.As for the CCTV at entrance, who is going to monitor it? It is good idea to allow only single entry and exit point from 1100pm-0500am.Hope we can create a safe environment and good community soon
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support Norman. Our committee members will be hitting each house to address any issue they may have. Our street reps are working hard to encourage residents to participate. With regards to fencing up the back lanes, it is a decsion that residents of each street has to make. Speak to your street rep and even assist your street rep in speaking to the residents on your street. The CCTV's will installed once we have sentry guards. The cctv's themselves will be guarded by the sentry's. The actual DVR will be in the hands of a committee member. For the closure of the entrances at the specified times, the traffic is not very heavy at those times. It is at these times that we have the highest incidences. This was an idea suggested by the police and security experts alike. Thanks for your feedback and support.
ReplyDeleteThe single point entry & exit is highly supported. Will this scheme cover Phase 4 residents too ...5/18...5/19 etc.?
ReplyDeleteWe have concerned residents in this phase as well. What's the take-up rate SUAC will need for this to work? ...starting from previous RTSU members is a good start
Hi Dijon,
ReplyDeletePhase 4 has set up it's own committee. SUAC is currently in discussions with the committee to ascertain the level of cooperation. We must work together. SUAC was unable to include phase when it started as the area is just too big. Rest assured, SUAC will cooperate with phase 4 to the fullest. After all, we are all in this together. Please contact Syed for further information. Syed can be reached @ 012-232-3547.
Pictures and videos will be made available in the blog for those who miss it.
ReplyDeleteI noticed one couple brought along their pet dog to the meeting. Could you please highlight this so that it will not happen again? Could you imagine what would happen if many of the house owners decide to bring along their dogs to such meetings?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it was a good meeting and thanks for all the hardwork to make it happen.
