THE SENTRY GUARDS HAVE ARRIVED!!

Dear Residents,

Please be advised that our sentry guards have arrived. We will now have to undergo a period of intense training and resume our system that served us well. Please be patient during this training period as it will take them some time to get accustomed to our strict system. In the meantime, we ask for your co-operation in advising your guests to use Post 1. Residents who wish to use Post 2 are urged to get their car stickers if they have not already done so. As always, we would love to hear your feedback which can be posted on this blog. We look forward to your continued support.

Security Update

Dear Residents,

SUAC apologizes for the delay in the mobilization of our sentry guards and truly appreciate your patience. Having conducted extensive research and interviews, we have decided to engage Sebiro Security Services Sdn Bhd. We have asked for well trained Nepalese direct from Nepal to serve as our sentry. We have also asked for strict in house training which is to be provided before mobilization to Seri Utama. Thank you for your understanding and rest assured, SUAC is looking out for your best interest. The Nepalese guard will station on both post on the 1st of May 2013.

Security Update: Delay of Sentry Guards

We apologise on the delay of the sentry guards for our taman. We have been working very hard to resolve this and so far we have gone through 3 security companies to get the legalised guards. Everytime each of them promised to send the guards on certain days but end up failing to keep to their promises.  We are currently working with another new security company and hopefully everything will be settled by early next week. Thanks for your understanding and support.

Circular: Security Updates

EGM 23mar2013Dear Residents,

1) As you are all aware, there was a Selangor wide immigration raid on foreign workers. SUAC lost 4 guards during this raid. Our guards are legal in Malaysia and had proper work permits. The issue for them was that their permits were for different sectors, namely, construction. While almost 86% of all security firms use such foreign workers to fulfil the role of security guards, due to shortage of available manpower to perform such duties, it was nonetheless an unfortunate incident. SUAC is working hard on their release.

2) As a result, SUAC plans on tweaking our system whereby we will be engaging a licensed security firm to provide us with Nepali guards who hold official security permits. The new sentry guards will officially report for duty in a matter of days.

3) With the added cost of such services comes the bad news. SUAC has no choice but to increase our quarterly fee to RM200, which works out to approximately RM68 / month. This is still lower than our neighbouring tamans who have also increased their fees. We thank each of you, in advance, for your continued support.

4) At the EGM held on the 24th March, 2013, the building of the guard house was discussed. The majority of our residents present agreed that the guard houses should be built. The committee plans to begin such construction in mid-April.

5) SUAC wishes to thank all the residents who participated in the EGM and more so those who volunteered to assist the committee in achieving its goal of having top notch security for all our residents.

6) Guarded members are reminded that SUAC does have a hotline and members are advised to use the service during emergencies or to report any untoward activity. SUAC Hotline ~ 012 238-5508.

Security Alert

Please be advised there are incidents where contractors from MBPJ asking residents to open their gates in the pretext to check for mosquitos and then asking for RM100 to do fogging. Some of the contractors were asking irrelevant and suspicious questions like the residents whereabouts during CNY and etc. SUAC have instructed our guards to lead them out of the Taman since they are soliciting funds to do this service. SUAC advise everyone not to let anyone to come in to the house to check for mosquito unless they are in MBPJ uniform and present MBPJ letter showing proof of checking. We have the right not to let unknown personnel to go into our house.

Although we can’t stop MBPJ contractors from coming in to do their respective job but everyone of us will have to be extra careful especially with the festive season coming. SUAC will enforce more stringent measures for the contractors coming into our Taman.  If anyone spotted any suspicious character loitering in our Taman, please call out guard HOTLINE 24 hours @ 0122385508.
